How can I delete my Chapps account?



You have an account for the Rental Inspector app, Property Inspector app, Building Inspector app, Dorm Inspector app, Residenz and/or Maintenance Organizer and you want your account deleted?


To have your account deleted, along with all underlying users, you need to be a user with Administrator rights. If you are not, please check with the Admin of your company or organisation. 



To have your company account deleted, send an email to support@chapps.com with the clear wording that you want your account permanently deleted.


Within 3 working days, we will confirm the start of the procedure for deleting your company account. This procedure is as follows:


  1. First, your company account will be frozen, you will no longer have access to the software and you will no longer be able to synchronise apps. You have another 30 days to reverse the final deletion if you wish

  2. After 30 days, all your account data (user data, buildings, properties, reports, photos and other metadata) will then be permanently deleted from our systems. This is irreversible. You will receive confirmation of this by e-mail.



Please note:


  • "The request must be sent from the e-mail address linked to your user account as an Admin user of the company account. 
    If this is not the case, we will not be able to accept your request.

  • Furthermore, Chapps may also request additional supporting documents to ensure that the request is legitimate and is made by a person authorised to act on behalf of the legal entity (company, organisation) to which the company account is linked.

  • Having your company account deleted does not affect any of your current subscriptions and does not release you from any payment obligations. Nor does the deletion of a company account constitute formal termination of your possible agreement. You must do this separately - if necessary - by sending an e-mail to info@chapps.com



Although all data from your company account will be permanently and irreversibly deleted, Chapps may still maintain administrative data. This is to comply with its legal and tax obligations. This data is kept for as long as required by legal provisions The data we keep in this context are:


  • Your customer account (invoices, credit notes, payments and refunds)
  • Your company data (including your VAT number)
  • The personal data of the authorised representatives of the legal entity
  • Tax and accounting information
  • Start and end duration of your subscription(s)
