What if I switch to a new mobile device?



Congratulations on your new smartphone and/or tablet. To 'move' your Chapps, proceed as follows:


  1. Synchronise the Building Inspector, Rental Inspector and/or Dorm Inspector so that all data is in the cloud and therefore you don't lose any data.
  2. Once everything is neatly synchronised, delete the app(s) from your old device. 
  3. Download and reinstall the app(s) on your new device. You can find the apps via your device's App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
  4. Log back into the app(s) with your email address and password and let the app sync.



So, now you're all set to continue working with your new device.
