What if I wish to start using a new device?

If you replace your device (tablet or smartphone) with a new or different device, follow these steps:

  1. Make sure you fully complete and synchronise all rental inspections/location descriptions on the old device. Important: if you don't, you will lose all unfinished inspections!
  2. Only when everything is finished and synchronised sign out of the app (via the Settings screen). If you wish, you can also delete the app from your old device.
  3. Download the Rental Inspector app on your new device via the App Store (Apple iOS) or the Play Store (Android).
  4. Sign in with your email address and password and get everything synced.
  5. Place your signature in the Settings screen and save it, that way you won't have to re-sign every report you make.
  6. You are now ready to start with your new device.
