What if I wish to start using a new device?
If you replace your device (tablet or smartphone) with a new or different device, follow these steps:
- Make sure you fully complete and synchronise all rental inspections/location descriptions on the old device. Important: if you don't, you will lose all unfinished inspections!
- Only when everything is finished and synchronised sign out of the app (via the Settings screen). If you wish, you can also delete the app from your old device.
- Download the Rental Inspector app on your new device via the App Store (Apple iOS) or the Play Store (Android).
- Sign in with your email address and password and get everything synced.
- Place your signature in the Settings screen and save it, that way you won't have to re-sign every report you make.
- You are now ready to start with your new device.
