How do I modify my checklist while performing a rental inspection?
As you carry out your rental inspection, you have all the flexibility to adjust the checklist as needed.
Using the round button with the three dots at the level of a room in your checklist, you can:
- Delete
- Change the order within the checklist (up or down)
- Duplicate (e.g. create a 2nd bedroom)
- Copy or cut (and paste on another floor)
- Delete the photos in 1x
- Add an element, element group or furniture & decoration
Using the round button with the three dots on the level element, you can alter the item in several ways:
- Delete
- Change the order within the checklist (up or down)
- Duplicate
- Copy or cut (and paste on another level)
- Set the element as default
Important to know:
When you duplicate, cut or copy a space or element, this is done for the features only. The photos, the evaluation, the notation about the operation and/or the observations are not copied. That way, you won't make mistakes with your inspection and report.
If you started with a standard checklist as a basis (e.g. an initial inspection with a new property in the portfolio), know that any checklist adjustments you make at the specific rental inspection will be saved for the specific property. So that way, your follow-up inspections will always be with the modified checklist.
