How do I prepare and schedule a rental inspection?
Go to the desired property in the Rental Manager and click on ‘New assignment’. If there are already completed rental inspections for this property, you can choose to work based on the previous rental inspection. If there is no previous inspection (for example, because the property is new in Rental Inspector Pro), you only have the option to create a new inspection.
You will now see a new screen where you can select the date and time, assign the assignment to the appropriate employee, select the appropriate checklist (only necessary for new initial rental inspections, otherwise you can work based on the previous one) and enter the information about the tenant(s) and landlord(s).
In the right-hand column at the top, you can add additional useful information, such as where the key is located or an alarm code that is required. This information will not appear in the report but will be displayed on the rental inspection home page in the app.
Once everything has been filled in, click on “Send to executor” to send the assignment to the coworker that has to perform the rental inspection The contractor then only needs to synchronise their app to receive the assignment in the app.
