What if I switch to a new tablet?


Congratulations on your new tablet!


To “move” your Rental Inspector to your new device, follow these steps:

  1. Complete any outstanding assignments and synchronise them, so that all data is safely synced with the Rental Manager.

  2. Then delete the Rental Inspector app from your old tablet.

  3. On your new tablet, open the App Store (Apple iPad) or the Play Store (Android tablet).

  4. Search for “Chapps Rental Inspector” and download the app for free.

  5. Open the app and log in with your email address and password.

  6. After logging in, allow the app to synchronise.

  7. Go to Settings, add your signature as an inspector, and save it.


That’s it – you’re all set to continue working with your new tablet.


Important: you will no longer see the history of properties and inspections in your app. That’s normal – it is not the app but the Rental Manager that serves as the central system of the Rental Inspector. (More information)
