Set up your Rental Inspector in 5 easy steps
Are you a new user of the Rental Inspector? Configure your Rental Inspector in 5 easy steps. Log on to https://account.chapps.com (tip: be sure to bookmark this URL) and go to the Rental Manager.
Step 1: Complete your business details
Click on the person icon on the top far right and select Business Account. Fill in the missing details of your company here.
Step 2: Upload your logo and adjust the color settings for your reports
Click on the gears icon and choose Report Layout from the dropdown menu. Upload your company logo here in the first tab. Switch to the Layout tab in the upper right to adjust the colors and fonts to match your company styling. You can also change the used font.
Step 3: Activate the default checklists
Save a lot of time with our predefined checklists for various types of homes and commercial properties. You only need to load them once. You can always edit them later, but it saves a lot of time not having to start from scratch:
Step 4: Load the default clauses and texts
We have already provided legal texts for your reports, adapted to your language and region. These texts and clauses will appear on your reports, which you can upload with one click. You can adjust these texts and clauses later if you wish, but they save a lot of time, just like the checklists, because you don't have to start from scratch.
Step 5: Invite your other users
Do you have multiple user licenses? Then create the other users in the Rental Manager and assign them their user role. They will receive an automatic email with an activation link. When they click on this link, they activate their user account in your company account and set their own password. From then on, they are active and can also log into the app.
