My tablet is running slowly or behaving unstably
The most common cause of a slow or unstable app is that the device’s memory is full. You can easily resolve this by following these steps:
First complete all outstanding tasks in the app and synchronise them. Important: any open rental inspections that are not completed and synchronised will be permanently lost in the next step! Make absolutely sure everything is finalised.
Delete the Rental Inspector app from your device.
Restart your tablet.
Download the Rental Inspector app again, free of charge, via the App Store (iOS) / Play Store (Android).
Log back in with your email address and password, and allow some time for synchronisation.
This procedure will free up a significant amount of memory and your app should run smoothly again.
It is normal that not all properties and completed tasks will be visible in the app afterwards (more info).
Pro tip: it’s advisable to carry out this procedure once or twice a year, even if you aren’t experiencing problems with the app. This will help keep both your app and your tablet in top condition.
