What is the Residenz app?
Chapps Residenz is a platform for the residents (like tenants and owners) of your buildings.
Residenz is a paid option for the Building Inspector and/or Dorm Inspector.
When you activate a contact for the Residenz, he or she gets access to an online environment that can be used on any device (via the browser).
In addition, there is also a so-called native app. This is an app that the resident downloads onto his device. This makes it even easier for him to report issues and follow up on things.
The Residenz app is available for free download in the App Store (Apple iOS) or the Play Store (Android) and is suitable for both smartphones and tablets.
Create and follow up on notifications
Once logged in, your resident can quickly and easily make reports about issues and defects. In the building but also in his or her own home. The handy wizard ensures that you as property manager immediately get accurate info. Such as the exact location, the element where the problem occurs and even photos's that your resident took.
The notifications arrive in your Chapps Manager. From here, you can chat with the resident, for example to ask for more info or inform him about the further course.
You can then promote a notification to an issue and attach jobs to it, as you do with the issues from for example your Building Inspector. When that happens, the resident can follow the progress along in their app.
Make announcements
From your Chapps Manager, you can easily send public announcements to all tenants of a particular building, for example. Such as the announcement of lift maintenance, a change in rubbish collection, your best wishes for the new year ... With just a few clicks, you can immediately inform the entire residential community.
Documents
With the Chapps Residenz, you make building documents available in your residents' (web) app. Think of the evacuation plan, house regulations, info on waste disposal, a floor plan, information about the neighbourhood ...
In addition, you can also send personal documents to a resident's app, which he or she only sees. For example, a rental contract, a rental inspection report, a statement of general expenses ...etc.
