Why is the Rental Inspector available on a limited basis in Belgium?
If your company or organisation is based in Belgium, the Chapps Rental Inspector is only available to:
- Social rental offices (SVK)
- Social housing companies (SHM)
- Government institutions and parastatal organisations
- Companies and organisations with no activity as a licensed real estate agent
- Patrimony companies
for the rental of exclusively own real estate.
If you are a Belgian real estate agent, steward, syndic, real estate expert or private landlord, you cannot test or purchase the Rental Inspector. This is because Chapps has an exclusivity agreement with CheckNet.
Real estate professionals in any other country can of course purchase the Rental Inspector*.
*We perform routine checks on the effective location of each customer, so it makes no sense for a Belgian real estate professional to create an account in another country while being based in Belgium. If your country of residence is not correct, we will immediately stop your account and you will no longer have access to your account details.
